No Objections

In Exodus chapter 3, God appeared to Moses by the burning bush and asked him to go and deliver the Israelites from the hand of the Egyptians. Moses was full of objections; he was insecure because of his speech impediment. He found it difficult to believe that God could use him to do the supernatural.

“Then Moses said to the Lord, “Please, Lord, I am not a man of words (eloquent, fluent), neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; for I am slow of speech and tongue.” The Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute or the deaf, or the seeing or the blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now then go, and I, even I, will be with your mouth, and will teach you what you shall say.” But he said, “Please my Lord, send the message [of rescue to Israel] by [someone else,] whomever else You will [choose].”” (Exodus 4:10-13 AMP)

Gideon had the potential to deliver the nation of Israel, but he saw himself as someone who is insignificant. He was ashamed of his family background because nobody has ever been outstanding among his family members. However, the angel of the Lord referred to him as a mighty man of valour.

If you focus on your weaknesses, you will lose focus of the many things God wants to do through you – for your home and the entire world. I am confident that God will use you to do the impossible if you remain flexible in His hands.
