When God tells you to wait for your life partner, there is a purpose and a reason for it. God’s timing is always different from ours. He obviously has something great in store for you, that is why you must rejoice and praise Him while waiting. Remember that you are unique, so you must not compare yourself to someone else. God’s plans and purposes are different for every one of us. Your own day of joy is coming.
“For since the world began no one has seen or heard of such a God as ours, who works for those who wait for him!” (Isaiah 64:4 TLB)
Do not give up at midnight, hold on till daybreak. God wants your marriage plans to line up with his own plans. He always keeps his promises. When God brings the right man or woman your way, it is going to be beautiful, more than your expectations because he does exceedingly, abundantly above what we can ever ask or imagine!
Waiting and trusting go hand in hand. You cannot wait for God without putting your trust in him. Trusting God means that you rely on him and you are confident that he is able to fulfil his promises in your life. Trust in God’s perfect timing because he’s never early and he’s never late. I encourage you to wait for your appointed time because delay is not denial.
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry”. (Habakkuk 2:3 NKJV)
